Raquel lives in the north of England. A lifetime book and art lover, her potential for a career in design was first noted in high school, where her art teacher insisted she take her exam a year ahead of her peers. She has worked in the world of books since 1984 and in 2010 she became an author and immersed herself in the indie publishing scene. In 2017 she swapped her pencil for a digital pen and has been designing book covers ever since, specialising in all things fantasy.
