This is a no obligation, ‘Trust Me’ package, completed during my spare time. You provide the information regarding the type of cover you’re looking for via the enquiry form, and leave the rest to me.

There is no guarantee if or when your request will be fulfilled. I choose projects based on which proposals pique my creativity at the time, but if your project is chosen, you will get first refusal on the final product. If you decline to purchase the cover, the typography will be changed before offering it out for sale as a general premade.

Design of 3-6 images blended together and overpainted to form a unique cover. The vast majority of requests will fall into this category.

Deluxe Ebook Cover

Extensive manipulation of multiple images (such as head-swaps, clothing changes, composite backgrounds, and adding multiple objects or additional characters) combined with heavy overpainting to create the final unique image.

  • No limit on the amount of stock used.
  • Up to five rounds of revision.
  • High-resolution JPG file 2700x1800px for uploading to sales platforms.
  • High-resolution JPG file 800x533px for promotional use.

** Ebook cover orders are subject to a 10% discount on subsequent covers in the same series, using the same model with same/similar background and booked for the same time slot.

Paperback Full Wrap Cover

Creation of the paperback design for uploading your book to the KDP platform. Additional platforms will incur a £25 surcharge each for the extra resizing work involved. Please allow 7 days from request to completion.

  • Book specifications (Size, page count etc.) and back copy text required before ordering.
  • Only available for covers originally designed by Crooked Sixpence.
  • Colours may vary slightly from the ebook, due to conversion from RGB to CMYK.
  • Delivered as a print-ready PDF file.

Audio Book Cover

A square cover designed from a section of your existing ebook cover to use for audiobook purposes.

  • Only available for covers originally designed by Crooked Sixpence.
  • Includes the addition of narrator name if required.
  • High-resolution 2400x2400px JPG file for uploading to your audio platform.

Boxed Set Graphic

  • Available at this price for up to 4 books (longer sets are available) and using current artwork for the series, originally designed by Crooked Sixpence. If new artwork is required, please book a custom cover slot for the new design before ordering this add-on.

Cover Process and Important Information

1.

To request a new custom slot, please complete the New Custom Cover Request form to inform me of your requirements. Alternatively, to request a series continuation slot, please complete the Series Continuation form. For anything else, please use the contact form.

You will then be contacted regarding the suitability of your project and an available time slot. (Please note that I do not accept requests to continue a series using a previous designer’s concept without written permission from that designer with their consent.)

3.

New custom clients will be required to make a £30 reservation deposit upon booking their slot. Refunds will only be supplied for cancellations up to 72 hours prior to work commencing. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final invoice.

When your time slot arrives, you will be notified that work is commencing. A mood board may be supplied at this point for more complex designs. Please keep an eye out for messages during this period and reply in a timely manner.

5.

Images are selected from a mixture of licensed stock photos, Daz renders, and personal photography. A £15 discount is offered on standard, premium and deluxe packages if the client chooses a suitable model photo from Depositphotos and supplies a link to it, or alternatively, purchases a premium stock image (requires prior consultation) and emails over the file. Personal, privately sourced, free, or Google images will not be worked with.

6.

Your cover will then be compiled with revision rounds included as stated per individual package. Turnaround time to final draft varies, dependent upon the complexity of the work involved and the communication speed. On average, please allow between one to two weeks for each cover to be completed.

7.

Full payment is requested upon your approval of the final design, and is due upon receipt of your PayPal invoice. Final files will then be sent via email once the payment has completed.

PSDs will not be provided.
